The former racing ring is already a haven for walkers, runners and cyclists, forming the site’s main attraction and an emblem of its equestrian history. Now covered in sand, the imprint of the former ring has left its mark on the landscape.

And tomorrow?

  • The ring – marked out by the running rails – will be preserved and renovated to remain an open area for everyone to take in the fresh air. The course extension will also be preserved. Part of the track will be given over to nature to form a link with the forest.
  • Eventually, the ring will be surrounded by benches, wooden loungers, sports apparatus and games to liven up your walks and encourage moments of relaxation.
  • The plastic rails are currently in a poor state of repair and will be replaced by white-painted wooden railings to reflect the site’s original look.
  • Certain paths that have been created due to regular pedestrian traffic will also be made official.
